Ingenuity was founded early 2008 by engineering experts in response to a growing demand from the engineering community for a high quality, specialised ‘single point of contact’.

The mission of Ingenuity

• National and international coordination between organisations and individuals in relation to the education and exercise of the engineering profession.
• Develop and implement related coordination and communication tools.
• Increase visibilty of all relevant information for engineers.
• Coordination of and participation in projects for enhanced education of engineers, their development and relevant sociatal and economic impact.
• Positively influence society perception of the engineering profession.

The objectives of Ingenuity

• Develop an interactive platform by engineers for engineers.
• Promote the engineering profession particularly with young people.
• Continuously offer scientific, industrial, economic and other relevant interesting information.
• Further develop a qualitative and professional inter – intranet on behalf of engineers, allowing exchange of questions and answers related to engineering subjects.
• Organise meaningfull networking activities.
• Offer a high quality and reliable job site, exclusively for engineers and allowing direct contact between engineering candidates and potential employers.

For the expansion of its services, Ingenuity is looking for a

Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• You will create new business opportunities to facilitate Ingenuity fullfilling its mission and objectives
• You will increase customers awareness about Ingenuity, its mission and its services
• You will personally visit potential customers to create new business, look for added value opportunities and develop new markets
• You will help to build solid relationships with possible Ingenuity partners such as: Industry and Private Enterprises, Employer and Sector Federations, High Schools and Universities, Student and Alumni Organisations,  

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Masters Degree, preferably in (Applied) Engineering, Applied Economics or Communication
• Communicative, empathic, proven record of excellent sales results
• Autonomous, creative, entrepreneurial skills, common sense, well organized
• Self motivating and result driven
• Mature with min. 10 years industrial relations experience
